Criteria

Our objective is to create a working list of darkweb links, but we have to follow certain criteria in order to create a safe collection of links for people to navigate.

1. No advertisement links are accepted.
2. No payment is accepted to link to a site. We stick to our criteria and we’re only financed by donations.
3. Websites that do not make profit or whose main purpose is not making profit are preferred. However in some categories like Services, for profit websites are accepted.
4. No “marketplaces” are accepted. These sites are commonly scams.
5. Websites whose objective is deanonymizing or compromising visitors’ identity are not included.
6. Websites that rely heavily on JavaScript are not accepted. Exceptions might be done with certain sites if JavaScript use is justified by the website’s nature.
7. “Fake news” websites are accepted, even if we do not endorse them. This is because governments all over the world are using this tag to censor the internet. While in some cases this practice is more than justified, in other cases they censor activist action or scientific papers that go against their political and monetary interests. If a reader has made this far to the darkweb, we believe in their critical thinking skills to notice missinformation. Darkweb main purpose is to fight back censorship, we would be missing the point if we removed websites tagged as “fake news” by mainstream media.
8. There is no discrimination by political believes. Links to libertarian, neoliberal, marxist and far-right websites are accepted. Although if the main purpose of a certain website is hate against a minority, it could be removed at the maintainer’s discretion.
9. No pornography at all, of any kind.
10. Links to pornographic sites are not accepted but some of the links may have NSFW content (forums). That’s tolerated as long as a) pornography is not the main topic/purpose of the site & b) no child abuse in any form.
11. No child abuse is tolerated, in any form.
